How to transfer apps to sd card sony. How do I move apps from the internal storage of my device to a memory card? Improving memory performance

How do I move an application to a memory card in my Sony xperia l c2105 phone?

Newer versions of android support transferring applications to a memory card through the standard menu. To do this, go to the phone settings, click the application item, select the desired one and click Transfer to SD-card. If this is not supported by you, you can do this through alternative programs such as titanium backup.

At one time we used a Sony phone, and just like the author, we faced the problem of moving the application to the memory card in the phone. We need to enter the phone memory settings and select the SD card from the options that appear. Remember that not everything is conveniently stored on an SD card, so I do not recommend choosing many options.

Go to the phone settings. Next, go to the applications. There will be a list of all applications installed on your Sony smartphone. Then look for the application that you want to move, click on it. And there the function will open to delete from above, and below to move to the memory card. In all androids, it is about the same and intuitive. If such a function is not provided then only obtaining root rights can help.

    Good day.

Indeed, many owners of not only Sony phones / smartphones have a similar problem, but also many owners of smartphones on Android.

The problem can be solved in a similar way: go to Settings\u003e further to Device memory\u003e then mark the desired one and move it to the memory card.

If you can't move this way, you may be dealing with a preinstalled app.

To move an application from internal memory to the sd-storage medium, just go to settings - device memory - there will be an item to move applications. Select the ones you need and move them. But at the same time, it is worth remembering that some may not work and you will have to put something specifically on the SD card, and before that delete the old one. So far, however, I have not met with such, after the transfer everything works stably. If the application is installed at the factory by the developers, then you will not be able to move it or delete it, there will be a lack of rights. Usually, in this case, root-rights are opened, but for those who do not know much, I do not advise doing this, you can delete important elements by mistake, as a result of this, the android will be killed and you will have to reflash the smartphone.

In the settings you need to find the section Applications. Several options will appear. You need to click on the one you want to transfer to the SD card. It should work. As a last resort - this, if it does not work out, then the operator will help you.

To move an application to the memory card in your phone Sony Xperia L, you need to go to the Phone Settings option, select the Applications option, select the one you want from the options and click on Transfer to sd-card.

All this is done simply in the phone settings themselves. Move the application itself to

the memory card is simple by going into the settings. phone Sony Experial, then select the option from what you see on the phone screen and select the one you need to change the application to the card.

There, in all Androids, the principle is the same:

    1. Go to settings
    2. Applications
    3. Choose the one you want, press the Transfer to SD-card

If this is not present or the button is not available, then the application is branded (from the manufacturer's company) and you need to move / delete it Root rights (I do not advise to climb to open them).

To install the application on the SD card by default - in the same place in Settings - Memory select SD card.

Marginal notes: those applications that you use constantly, such as Opera, 2Gis, Navitel Navigator, are best stored in the phone, because the SD card has a finite number of entries in the memory cell and at the most dangerous moment you may not start it stupidly due to SD failure cards. (this is my personal opinion, like the hucksters from the store, I saw broken flash drives and SD cards)

Your device supports different types of storage devices that allow you to store photos, apps, and other files:

  • Capacity internal storage is approximately 1.7 GB. It is used to store downloaded or transferred content, personal settings and data. These include alarm, volume and language settings, emails, bookmarks, contacts, calendar events, photos, videos, and music.
  • You can use a removable memory card up to 32 GB to increase storage space. Most applications can read data from the memory card, but only some applications can save files to the card. For example, a camera application can save photos directly to a memory card.
  • Volume dynamic memory (RAM) is approximately 1 GB. This memory cannot be used to store files. RAM memory is used for the needs of running applications and the operating system.

Improving memory performance

The device memory usually fills up during use. If performance degrades or applications suddenly quit, you can try the following:

  • You must have more than 100 MB of free space on the internal storage and more than 100 MB of free RAM.
  • Close running applications that you are not using.
  • Clear the cache of all applications.
  • Delete downloaded apps that you are not using.
  • Transfer photos, videos and music from internal storage to your memory card.
  • If the device cannot read the contents of the memory card, you may need to format it.
